We are pleased to announce that we will release a The Thing box set titled "Now And Forever". The box will include their two first albums, "The Thing" and "She Says" (with Joe McPhee), that were both released on Universal. The albums have been deleted for years, and we are happy to finally get these lost classics back in print. Also there will be a new CD with a new impro session. And; there will be a DVD with The Thing live at the Oya Festival with Thurston Moore of Sonic Youth on guitar. Note that the box will only be pressed in a edition of 2000 copies. The box is being made now and we`ll come back with a release date as soon as we know. Stay tuned!
LABELNIGHT AT BY:LARM FESTIVAL IN OSLO

We`ll do two nights of Supersounds at the By:Larm festival in Oslo, Norway, in February. The nights will take place in one of Oslo`s smallest, but best clubs, Nomaden. On the 22nd of February the line-up is Lindstrøm, Bjørn Torske and Sunkissed DJ G-Ha. The next day, the 23rd, the line-up is 120 Days (live) and Diskjokke. So if you are in Oslo come and party with us!
SMALLTOWN SUPERSOUND SHOWCASE AT SXSW

We`re happy to announce that we will have a showcase at the South By Southwest festival in Austin, Texas in March this year. The line-up is now confirmed: Bjørn Torske, Sunburned Hand Of The Man, Lindstrøm, Arp, Diskjokke and Kim Hiorthøy will all perform. We will come back with more info such as date and venue soon.

Pitchfork has a great review of Diskjokke`s “Some Signs Are Good” from the upcoming album “Staying In” (due March 2008) and describes the track as “bright, playful, spacey, and colorful, music for the nighttime that retains the warmth of an afternoon on the beach”.
